Privacy Policy

Last updated June 5, 2026

Psst ("we", "us") makes a collaborative to-do app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in (with Apple, Google, or an email link) we store your email address and a display name and avatar you choose. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Your content

The lists, items, notes, comments, tags, and file attachments you create are stored so we can sync them across your devices and to people you share a list with.

Collaboration data

If you share a list, we store who has access and their role, and we show lightweight "live" presence (who is currently viewing or editing) to collaborators on that list.

Device & diagnostic data

To deliver notifications we store a push token for your device. We may process basic technical data (app version, platform, error reports) to keep the service working.

Purchases

Psst Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active, expired, trial). We never see your full payment-card details — the app stores handle billing.

Location (only if you use location reminders)

If you set a location-based reminder, the app uses your device location to create a geofence. Geofences are evaluated on your device; the place you pick is stored with that reminder so it can sync to your other devices. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your system settings.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or use your list content for advertising.

Storage & security

Data is stored on managed servers and protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings: it is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day grace period, including your profile and the lists you own. Signing back in within those 30 days cancels the deletion. Lists owned by others that you only collaborated on remain with their owner. Backups are purged on a rolling basis.

Your rights

You can access and edit your profile, export your data, and delete your account from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability). Email us to exercise them.

Children

Psst is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app.
